Asia School of Business: Welcoming the Inaugural MBA Class
Asia School of Business has opened doors to their inaugural MBA class of 2018. This marks the beginning of a transformative journey for the 48 extraordinary and unconventional students who have come from six continents to embark on their 18-month MBA quest. The MBA program combines theory and practice at every level so that each graduate is business-ready and equipped with a broad range of tools and capabilities in order to create a powerful impact throughout Asia and all across the world.
Today’s business environment demands leaders who not only demonstrate an understanding of the tools and frameworks, but who can also apply these methodologies, which is why ASB has embraced the challenge to create a new and stronger path for the Asian disruptive age. “Our mission is to turbo-charge the ASEAN eco-system to become a destination for innovators and change-makers,” said President and Dean of ASB, Charles Fine.
According to Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz, Co-chair of ASB and former Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia, “The offerings by the School are ambitious. Not only the theoretical foundations and its practical application but also to provide a greater understanding and appreciation of the dynamics of the environment in the emerging world, in particular Asia.”
ASB’s inaugural class will begin classes this week. The majority of classes will be taught by faculty from MIT, with some classes being taught by ASB resident professors.
