Dr. Thangamany is the Chief Financial Officer at the Asia School of Business. She is responsible for company-wide financial management and governance. Prior to this role, she was the Chief Financial Officer of The Iclif Leadership and Governance Centre (Iclif) and facilitated the integration of Asia School of Business with Iclif.

Coming from Bank Negara Malaysia, her 30-year career with the Central Bank spans a wide range of portfolios, covering financial supervision, prudential financial policy, organizational strategy and risk management, and financial management and reporting.

She was awarded full scholarships by the Central Bank to read for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Monash University, Australia, and for the Master in Business Administration (Accountancy) at University of Malaya, Malaysia (for which she was awarded a Certificate of Academic Excellence by the Central Bank).

Dr. Thangamany is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and an affiliate of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers, Malaysia
